 Weevils in WBS

Anyone ever deal with these pesky bastards?
I couldn't find a bag of WBS in the store without them in it. They dont really bother me in terms of preparing the seed, but I'm afraid they are gonna infest my house!!!
This what they look like
Any suggestions on how to kill them?

Get that BAG out of your house!
It will infest your house, and you'll have a fun time getting them back out, they're nasty buggers.
Since you know what they are, you shoulden't have much problems finding proper info on the net.
I've had them come in whole bags of rat feed before, it sucked 
One would think pressure cooking would kill the eggs tho.

walmart bags are where i have found em.
they were in this
they were all over the walmart sack also.
You should get Bird Basics from PetSmart. Best stuff i have ever used.

hmmm. I get Pennington brand at Walmart and never seen one. Maybe one bag was infected and they spread during shipment/storage.

I tried moving it to a rubbermaid bin but they are so small the have no problem getting out. These things are so disgusting. I dont even want to use this stuff its so infested. Oh well, I just tossed it out to the garage. They can infest whatever they want out there.

If I bought a weevil infested bag of WBS from a chain store.
I would take it BACK, be outraged, demand they make amends.
Hey, you had to fumigate the whole house, to get rid of them.

I've heard of weevils, but until that pic, ive never seen what they look like. Holy cow! What.. the... fuck... crazy ass little insect. I usually get sealed bags from the hardware store (FUCK walmart, always and forever) that contain as little sunflower seed as possible. Good luck!

One time K-mart didn't want to take back a defective car battery because I didn't have a receipt. I must have argued with them for 20 min. All the while it was leaking battery acid down onto their phones and paperwork and all manner of bullshit.
Just as the manager finally got there to give me a refund they realized that there was a spreading puddle of battery acid creeping across their counter. I didn't even know it was leaking, but it was at least several ounces of acid. That was some funny shit!
I would take that shitty infested WBS and just rip it open and throw it all over. Pretend like you freaked because a weevil bit you. If you make a scene you will get free stuff, I guarantee.
That was my mistake with the battery. I was happy just to get the refund, but I should have been hollering about the battery acid burning me.

put it in the freezer it will kill most of them and pc will kill all the eggs. weevels suck i use kaytee from petco 40lb usually $12 got on sale for 6 40lb bag only had prob only 5% i had to clean out.

On a roadtrip, we blew a tire and pulled into the closest Wal-Mart. we went to the auto shop and told them to replace our tire because 'it was still under warranty from the other walmart we bought it at, in (random city). then we just held our ground and our stick-to-itativness was rewarded with a free tire! and then...
Another time, i filled a backpack(from the store) with DVDs and rode out of the walmart on one of their bicycles. it was so fun, its scary.

Man, if you got the shit from Walmart, take it back, and be prepared for a fight. They don't like to take shit back, they don't like exchanges, and they don't like refunds. They're vicious, ruthless, and a bit rediculous.
My wife and I, after our 2nd child was born purchased a breast pump from the sly, evil bastards. She openned the package, plugged it in and went to work, or rather, tried to go to work. The damn thing was broken, right out of the package, the motor didn't work...nothning happenned.
I immediately drove back to Walmart to return said item. I argued with the lady behind the counter for about 35 minutes before she called a manager over. By argue, I mean that first we spoke as 2 people might in meeting for the first time at a bus stop, very casually. This lasted about 5 minutes...then came raised voices, her's first, about 10 minutes, and then again, she before I, outright screaming! All this was due to her inability to comprehend that the fucking machine was FUCKING BROKEN. She said it was a health code issue and that since it was used, or attempted to be used, they couldn't put it back on the shelf. To this I consistantly replied that you can't put broken merchandise back on the shelf for resale anyway, because it's broken. The manager argued the same point with me in a slightly calmer fashion for about 10 minutes, but by this time I was completely bewildered and PISSED THE FUCK OFF and couldn't stop screaming, so she finally gave me my money back and asked me not to return to the store, which I happily obligued.
That's why Walmart sux ass (ok, just one of the many reasons).
My apologies for the length of this post, and my thanks for enduring my Walmart induced speed rant.
