Do they have to be dry? or Can I use fresh chopped up ones?

Do I boil the water?

How long do I steep it?

What are things I should avoid at all costs?!

Either or.

If you want, I usually get it to a light boil.

About half an hour.

Large chunks of shroom. Chop them up as fine as possible, coffee grinder is optimum.

Ok man, this is how i do it. I live in louisiana so shrooms are always available and i only use them in tea. Take about 20 - 30 fresh mushrooms and dice them in to smaller pieces. THen take all of the diced shrooms and place them into a stocking (panty hose) or something that is really light that will act as a tea bag; maybe a dress sock would work. Get water to a boil and drop the bag of shrooms into the water. Then press the bag of shrooms with a spoon :mushroom2:

and you should see the purple-blue psilocybin come from the stocking. Let them boil in water for about 7 - 10 minutes. Then let the water cool. Throw the stocking with the shrooms in it away. I usually mix the shroom water with some powerade or lemonade mix. Do about 2 - 3 shots of it and you should be golden. This way never fails. You should avoid just putting the shrooms in the water by themselves
