Need help to ID these poppies...

I have found a website that sells poppy heads for what seems like a really cheap price under the description 'Papaver Large Natural'. I need to know if all Papaver strains produce opium as it's obviously not something I can enquire about in an email. Also there is no mention of these poppies being pesticide free, should I be worried about this and if so how could I enquire as to whether they are without it sounding suspicious? Below is a picture of the poppies heads I want to buy.
edit: two more strains futher down page for ID too...

I don't have enough experience to visually ID those pods, but i do know that all papaver's DO NOT produce opium.

There's a couple more Papaver strains on this site, can anyone visual ID these? The top pic looks identical to the typical opium pod but I'd like to be sure...

They look good to me but it's very hard to tell 100% because i don't have knowledge of every single poppy out there.
If your in England now take a walk around your neighborhood, assuming you can ID the plants you should find plenty around and abouts. Its abit sly i know but you can usually find some that won't be missed.

I think the bottom ones are, the middle ones might be but the pic has a funny angle on them so it's hard to tell.
The top ones look abit weird, but then they do come in different shapes, so they could be too.
It's impossible to judge size.
Don't forget if your buying them online they are probably coated with something. Again if your buying online you should be able to find some somewhere that are labeled 'Papaver somniferum',,,,, if your lucky !
Don't just take my ID on them though, thats just what i think.

If the poppies had pesticides on them would it be visible?

Those look like papaver somniferum pods, but I am not experienced with making an I.D. from pods. I can only I.D. a poppy if I can get a good look at the stem, leaves, and petals of a live specimen.
They appear to have the attributes of P. Somniferum pods that I am familiar with, but that does not constitute a positive I.D.
If you wanted to ask the retailer, then merely ask for the "binomial name" of the plant from which the pods originate. They're not likely to think anything of such a question. If they do have a follow-up question, you might say that you were going to remove the seeds for cultivation, and wanted to know which species you would be getting.
Cultivation is illegal in the united states, but so is selling dry poppy pods, so honestly they're not likely to be in any hurry to raise a legal fuss.

I'm no expert, but I severely doubt it would be detectable outside of a chemical analysis. The only other way I would know of is to just consume the product of the pods and find out the hard way. If you get sick, they were treated
Not a good idea to test it that way, though

Definatly? Cause I don't wanna end up puking my guts out. I shall assume they are however and take only 2-3 pods to begin with to test. Would the largest pods have the greatest concentration of opium per weight?

They are most definitely Somniferum, all of the photos.
