Hey,has anyone heard of coca-cola chicken?I'm not takin the piss,i heard it could be S/African :confused:

You talk funny.

1 can regular Coke
1/4 cup soy sauce
skinless chicken pieces

Place chicken pieces in frying pan. Add Coke and soy sauce. Cook on medium heat, turning pieces often. It will look rather gross when it first starts cooking. Eventually, the liquid will evaporate, and will form a glaze on the chicken. Cook until most of the liquid is gone. Be very careful to keep a close eye on the chicken, as it can burn very easily. It takes approximately 30 minutes to cook.

Yeah,im pissed,my friend came up with it just now and i thought he was making it up.Sorry for drunken post,but i can always use a good redipe :thumbup:

You can also make some bitchin' hams (or chicken) in the oven using coca-cola as a basting sauce. Make up a glaze / basting sauce of coca-cola and add in a bunch of other stuff to make it super tasty: like some orange marmalade, perhaps some whiskey, cloves, some extra brown sugar... anything a little sweet or spicy will work wonders! Let the ham or chicken cook half way, and if you have a ham leg with a very thick fatty skin, try to peel off the outer layer of skin, slit the fat layer with a knife about 1/2" deep in a cross-hatch pattern, and baste 3 - 6 times during the last half of cooking. It'll get so sweety crispy, moistly golden delicious.. yum!
