Dust-Like Growth

ok i know ive repeatedly read anything other than the white fuzz is bad but, im being sure of myself. ok out of my 12 jars only this one is questionable so far. it does have the basic white fuzz stuff growing but towards the upper regions of the jar and specially on the top if opened, it has the cobweb appearance with that dust-gray color. it also does look like dust. should i toss it?

Yup. If it looks like dust, it's bad. If you have a verm barrier, the myc that penetrates that layer will be thinner and you'll see the grey of the verm through it, which is normal. However, the dust appearance is mold.

ok well something strange has happened, i just checked all my jars and they ALL looked fine... im pretty sure i can identify the one that had the growth on it but i doubled checked it and it seems like the dust-growth went away, im still going to toss it though just to be safe.
