For those of you that missed the link in OTD which moosehead so generously doled out:
http://rawkblog.blogspot.com/2006/06/daft-punk-is-playing-at-your-house.html
Go there to download the two-part live set.
Fuck it's so good.

Gracias Robot! (Gracias, that's kinda like thank you in Spanish.)
I remember walking away from their show that night saying something like, "I can't wait to find that mix on the internet!" That shit was so tight!
Oh yeah, I saw you at Coachella, (walked right by you in fact), which I was hoping so badly to do. But, alas, I was shrooming fairly well, and there were so many people there. It was around 6 somethin' (before Sigur Ros started) and you were entering the Beer Garden, I and my brother were leaving it. I saw your crazy mop and was gonna say something, but 'cause I was tripping so hard and I was so intent on seeing Sigur Ros I had to summon all of my abilities toward that end. Next time, bro! But thanks again for this link. (I can't wait to show my brother who'd been rolling balls all night in that little jungle tent prior to Daft Punk's performance.)
Peace!

You have to see the full length animation "interstellar 555(5?)". So good. By Leiji Matsumoto, to their album Homework.

Thanks a million! That was such an awesome set, here's the few pics that turned out from the set, it was really dark.

I don't write anywhere near enough to have anything nears the magnitude of an "archive."

No shit, I was listening to the same song when I said almost the exact same thing in the "being" thread.

Daft Punk is amazing. I just wish they would switch their beats up a bit more. I can tell their songs just from the BPM it seems... sorta' like Trent Reznor...

Hey OneMoreRobot I just wanted to say thanks for that download again! 5 Shrooms for you!
I've been sending it out to all my friends who went to Coachella with me, everyone is so stoked to find the mix.
It's been playing almost non-stop on my computer too, I love the beginning, Robot Rock was such an awesome opening.
Just wanted to say thanks again : )

p.s. If you like Daft Punk, keep your eyes peeled for Electroma
Electroma Stills
If you haven't heard it's a movie they're producing, they were filming out in the desert before Coachella. From what I hear it may be kinda like "The Wall"
Quote:
Daft Punk' s Electroma is visual and musical which follows the history of two robots in their search to become human.
