Anyone know how to hack those tire boots?

THe ones they put on your car if you park in the lot and don't go to the right store, or don't pay the 2 dollar parking fee.

I've seen people get them in Chicago, but I don't have any clue on how to get them off.

I've never heard of these.

I vaguely remember seeing a car w/some metal thing on it's tire in St. Augustine. I just thought it was an anti-theft mechanism.

What do they look like?

...so is that how the enforcement officer will take it off? I'm sure you could pick a lock or something, but then again I don't know what I'm talking about. Just all that equipment and experience seems a little excessive.

Common sense says that if you have the key you can unlock the bitch instead of welding it off. Did I miss something.
The best way to remove a tire boot is to kick the enforcers ass or don't park in unwarranted places.

Wouldn't it work to jack-up the car, take the tire with the boot off, put the spare on, and drive off so you can work on the boot at a different location?

I don't know if i would be wanting to steal that boot, they have all your vehicle information. And I am sure that those boots aren't cheap.

If you dismanted your suspension, I think it wouldn't be too hard to
remove the hub that's attached to the wheel that's attached to the boot.

Good luck driving after that, though.

You could try parking illegally, then jumping from the light post, stunning the tire boot enforcer with a 1600 volt shocker, then macing him in the face with some ape semen mixed with habanero's until he told you " THE ULTIMATE SECRET OF TIRE BOOTS" .
