I've been listening to a few songs, I really dig some of their songs. I just listened to Franklin's Tower and it really hit the senses (its that feeling when you've just found a band you can listen to for years) anyway i have no CD's from them. I'm in the iTunes library and iTunes has a large collection of GD. so i was wondering what CD is an absolute masterpiece from them, a cd that you can listen to without changing tracks or any of that.

I'd recommend downloading 2/26/77 and 5/8/77 as a start. They're good introductions to the Dead. Then start digging into 1974. You can't go wrong there. One of my favorites is also 6/23/93 Deer Creek. Sick, sick jamming there.

If you like Franklin's Tower get the album it's a track off of - Blues for Allah (the last truly great Dead studio album).
