Can you transplant mushrooms?

Hey, I was wondering if you can cut out the area around a mushroom growing in the wild, and keeping all the mycelium intact, move it indoors to an aquarium like a cake. Thanks

I have seen it successfully done on here many times. With cubes and other species. Some take cow pies home.
I've never done it myself and I'm not that great of a cultivator compared to some people on here.

There have been threads also - which may be kind of hard to find via search posts.
