horse poo question
    #5573482 - 04/30/06 08:52 AM (17 years, 10 months ago)

hey guys...i bought some horse poo from tenn stud. I pasteurized in the oven for about 2 hrs at 170 or so. So I mixed the poo with colonized wbs and let it incubate. Just wondering if this stuff is supposed to smell at all. There was a point during pasteurization that the temp hit 190 but I quickly lowered it. Could this have fucked things up. That's some expensive shit and I don't want to lose it. Thanks.

You should be OK. As for the smell, some say it's "earthy". I say it smells like shit. :smirk:

I thought it came pre-pasteurized? What were you using to measure temperature?

You can get it dry or pre-pastuerized.
