Casing Question.. To Pick or Not to Pick

Someone I know well just picked a flush off a casing. When he picked them he took all of them off there but found some on the side that where starting to grow. Should you pick all of them off at once and then go for a sec. flush. What he did was pick most of them, even the small ones, and let the med to small ones stay?

Ideas?>

the ideal thing to do is to pick everything all at onces,
that way you can dunk immediatley...
but again, they always grow, one bigger than the other.....
so its a pain in the ass, when it comes to that question...
i guess the best thing to do is EAT the small ones, those that wont grow much at all, and just leave the mid sized ones to pick later...
