Will the jar be ok? 1 tiny tiny spot of green.
    #547252 - 02/10/02 11:39 PM (22 years, 1 month ago)

I am very sorry that I can't post any pictures, I don't have a digi camera :frown: I'll go buy some film tomorrow. Anyhow, here is my situation. I have 1 jar that looks like it might be contaminated. BUT, the jar is at least 75% colonized right now, and the green spot is about only 1/4 the size of a dime... So it is extremely tiny. Will the Mycellium just kill this contam? Is it safe to case? I would definatley case this jar by itself apart from the rest if I picked that option. I would also cut out that little green spot if it is still there. Any thoughts? Previous experiences? That green spot is Extremely tiny, I'd compare it to a drop of water in size, maybe just a lil' bigger.

I wafted some air towards my noze with the lid on the jar and a coffee filter overtop and lightly took a small wiff.  I could smell a faint odour which was definately a little off from the rest of the clean jars.

let it colonize, maybe isolate it from the other jars, if it doesnt go away, toss it, u cant beat green mold, i have wasted so much time trying, no luck.

It might have been bruising.  Was it on a part of the jar that was colonized?

How old are YOU exactly?  We had had digital cameras for a while by 2002.

Poster specifically said that they had no digi and were going to buy some film. Did you even read it or do you just have an alarmingly terrible short term memory? How old are YOU? Senile dementia maybe?

Sorry what?  You must have me confused with someone who reads 15 year old threads..

Right. You're the guy who responds to comments on 15 year old threads without checking for context to make sure he's not actually the one whose response doesn't make sense. And you wouldn't have even had to read past the first sentence

Excuse me, it appears you may potentially be attempting to fill the role of crabby motherfucker.  That spot is taken.

Srsly though.. I obviously didn't read the first post once I realized it was a 15 year old thread, since it didn't load the first post upon entering.  But there's no real need to blow it up into something it doesn't need to be.
