Compost/BRF Jar?

Hey Shroomery, I was startin up again and I decided to do a little experiment, so I got some year old compost outa the bin and put in the electric coffee grinder till it was nice and powdery. I measured out 1/8 cup of it and mixed with 1/8 cup of freshly ground BRF and followed the PF Tek using that instead of just BRF. I also did some regular PF jars and knocked em all up with spore syringe. The Compost/BRF jar took off a day before the others and is colinizing alot faster. What I was wondering was will the Compost/BRF give me a larger yield or more potent mushrooms? Later, SK

More diverse array of nutrients..so...

As long as the moisture is there, then I would say yes, your yields could definately be better. Potency? I dunno..I'd guess their is a good chance that will be increased as well.
