This might be a stupid idea...

I'm 20 years old, right? I've got like 10 months until I'm legal so I'm practically 21 anyway. I still have the mindset of a 18 year old but I might as well be fucking 21 . Anyway, I was thinking about buying a fake ID just to... you know... make the 10 months go by faster. I'm sick of having to depend on other people to supply my alcohol needs. I've slipped through the cracks plenty of times. For example, I've stamped my hands at La Vela when the bouncer wasn't looking (I've got skills) and another time I told Outback that it was my 22nd birthday and they brought me some cake and I ordered a tons of beer w/o being ID'ed. I'm just sick of having to do that kind of shit.
I want to be able to walk into a place and order a fucking alcoholic beverage and have a good time. I've been drinking since I was 15. I know my limit, I'm not going to do anything too stupid. People way over my age do fucking retarded shit when they're drunk. I look around at all these plastered people in clubs dancing like fucking idiots falling all over the place and you know what? I feel like I'm getting shafted. I cant even legally buy a drink, get a buzz and have a good time with a couple of friends when there's people out there who kill other people when they're drunk. THEY should be the ones who aren't allowed to buy alcohol. Bullshit I tell you. Of course there are exceptions to what I'm talking about. I know some 20 year olds who should NOT be allowed to drink and/or be on any altered substances. haha
Moving on...
Being the cheapskate I am, I came up with a conniving plan to solve this inane problem:
1) Go up to the DMV 2) Tell them I lost my old ID and would like a new one (gladly paying the 10 dollar fee). 3) (Not really sure if they're going to ask me for new information such as new address or new height *highly doubt they'll ask my age*) 4) Have them print everything out on the card and hand it to me. 5) I'd then tell them that they have my birth date wrong. *My real birthday is on 1-10-86*... but I'll tell them "that must be a misprint because my birthday is actually on January 13th 1985."
-Should I just change the year of the birth date - or would that be too conspicuous? I'd think that if I changed the day as well that it'd be more believable.
Do you think this plan is feasible? It seems like a long stretch, but I think if I play my cards right I could get away with it.
However, I don't know anything about how they keep their records. I don't remember if I showed them my birth certificate at first or if I just told them how old I was. I'm sure they can look up the first issued learners permit ID which was when I was 15. In case they get suspicious, I could tell them that I was actually 16 when I got my permit (and make up some reason like I couldn't afford a car for a year or some shit). That might clear something up. I don't know if they'd then require a birth certificate, another form of ID, if they have indisputible evidence that I AM 20, or if they'd just not care enough and believe be if I sounds convincing...
They could flat out prove me wrong by looking up SOMETHING (that I don't know what it could be) and totally foil my plan. But, there is (in my mind) still a chance to work.
What do you guys think? Is just a retarded plan or do you think I could pull it off?
If that didn't work, I was thinking about making/buying a fake ID. If I tried to make it using photoshop or imageready, I could do a fairly good job.
and if that didn't work...
I'll just wait until I'm 21. hahaha

You need a birth certificate to get your license, so if you tell them its a misprint, I doubt they will just change it for you.

Put yourself into cryogenic stasis. Have them wake you up in 200 years. You'll be plenty old enough to drink but won't have aged a day.

I live in Panama City Florida. They are usually pretty strict when it comes to underage drinking. I basically want this ID so I can get into some clubs. If you're under 21, you can't leave and come back because they know you'll get plastered. You can go pre-fucked up, but that's not what I'm looking for.

That's what I figured. I'm still wondering if the person doing the work is lenient enough to just do it...

In NJ now you need a lot of stuff to get a DMV issued license renewed. That didn't stop my little brother though from "borrowing" my birth certificate, a bank statement, and my social security card -- now he has a state issued, 100% real fake ID
Lucky bastard
