-------------------- PEACE zippoz "in times of widespread chaos and confusion, it has been the duty of more advanced human beings - artists, scientists, clowns, and philosophers - to create order. In such times as ours however, when there is too much order, too much m management, too much programming and control, it becomes the duty of superior men and women and women to fling their favorite monkey wrenches into the machinery. To relieve the repression of the human spirit, they must sow doubt and disruption" "People do it every day, they talk to themselves ... they see themselves as they'd like to be, they don't have the courage you have, to just run with it."

On second thought, it reviels my real name and don't want to hand it out.

From the website:
Gmail is Google's free webmail service. It comes with built-in Google search technology and over 2,600 megabytes of storage (and growing every day). You can keep all your important messages, files and pictures forever, use search to quickly and easily find anything you're looking for, and make sense of it all with a new way of viewing messages as part of conversations.
There are no pop-ups or untargeted banner ads in Gmail, only small text ads. Ads and related information are relevant to your messages, so instead of being obtrusive, they may even be useful for once.
Gmail also integrates instant messaging right into the email experience, so you can stay in even better touch with your friends when you're online. Easy, efficient and maybe even fun to use. It's a whole new way to think about email. It's Google's approach to email.

it's an invite only email service created by google, your inbox is ungodly huge and you can archive mail, you can also search mail with the google engine. It's cool.

Although Google does a DAMN GOOD job of keeping the users privacy intact, I still wouldn't trust em. Google is just too big of a target for the feds.

Eventually all information will be freely available for the public anyway - so I figure I might as well just go ahead and jump in now.
Think about people's "private" diaries from 500 years ago - Public Domain now. To me, this process seems like it will only accelerate due to the internet, and within our lifetimes, nearly everything we have ever put down into physical space will be utterly transparent to everyone.
The future craves your information. ; )
