Help! Pressure Cooker Size

Ive searched the site RE pressure cookers and cant seem to find out what size cooker to use. Do I go for a 5lt (litre) or is that too small? Maybe a big 14lt would be better. Im gonna be putting in maybe 6 250ml (1/2 pint) jars if that helps anyone out there.

14 liter is on the small side I'd recommend at least a 20 liter unless your totally positively sure that your not going to get at all serious in this hobby. Another consideration is the fact that the larger PC's are constructed better. GL and welcome EIYM

Thanks! That's a whopper you've got there!!!! what's the litreage? and to think i was gonna get a 5lt cooker!
I'm guessing its gonna be outta my price range though. Ebay's got em but they cost $200AUS

41 quarts = 38.8004707 liters

I don't know what size jars you intend to use.

But, I would suggest one that holds five (5) 1 liter jars, as the smallest to purchase.

Otherwise, once you gain experience, you WIll be buying a BIGGER PC.

Or, spend DAYS on end, continuously PC'ing tiny wbs/grain spawn jars.

i have an All American AA930 but if you don't have the cash for something like that get the biggest you can for a good price. just remember you get what you pay for.
