contam test

now, i've gotten away with never having a contam, but one of my little casings began to get bluish maybe greenish (can't tell) highlights on it. now, it was after a harvest thati first noticed it, and sprayed an h202 dilution on it. the bluing became more pronounced over the next few days.

now, i remember reading that if i can take a damp q-tip, and run it against the colored spots, and if it comes away clean then it is not green mold, but bruising. the green coloring of mold is actually spores etc etc...

it is not a dense patch like i've seen in contam photos, but 'highlights'. the peaks of mycelium are colored.

for the life of me it is exactally blue/green and i can't be sure. anyway, q-tip is clean... it is on two small casings now, which were harvested at the same time (and not re-patched/cased) and rather dry which might of had something to do with it. i should just find a camera...
