Poor Mans Pod Too Humid

can i leave the top off my poor mans pod
or am i just asking for contaminants

the reason is because i just set it up and tested how much rh it was going to produce.

way to humid for casings but perfect for cakes
i planned on casing
either that or maybe a very small air stone
any advice

It will be fine. The more air the better as long as you can maintain humidity. Leaving the lid cracked will not increase contaminants. There is no reason or need to maintain sterility in a growing environment.
