Mycellium transfer - too late?
    #5312408 - 02/17/06 11:47 PM (18 years, 2 months ago)

A jar that I thought had stalled has fully colonized the substrate within and started fruiting inside the jar, shrooms pressed against the glass and such... is it too late to use this determined little jar for a mycellium transfer, or may I pass on its fighting spirit to a new generation of PF's?

Keep everything sterile so when "cleaning it up" do it in a glovebox and do it as quick as possible keeping exposure to a minimum. I myself wouldn't wait for a measly flush when that time could be put to better use, just my opinion is all. GL
