I'd say we got about a foot or maybe a little more. Enjoy!!

I know, it's FREEZING outside!! The only times I've gone out are to let her go to the bathroom...other than that I've been camped out in here, where it's warm
And I(n)digo, yeah, she loves the snow...we throw snowballs at her while we're out there, or kick it on her, and she attacks our feet if we stop

i remember my friends cat spending hours in the snow just going it it... he would paw into the snow throwing it in a direction and then pounce at wherever the snow would land... hours of neverending fun hehehehe...
it's really cool how animals enjoy and play with these circumstances very much like a human would...

Nice pics. We got 24" in Connecticut according to the weather channel, prob about 20" here, theres a good 3-4 foot snow drift up against my garage door

we've got a tennis court out back, and one of her favorite things to do is go to the tennis court with a bunch of tennis balls and play fetch. Recently the court has been mostly covered with half frozen puddles, so she'll go flying after a ball, and all 4 legs will slide in different directions, it's awesome But she never slows down...runs head first in to the chain link fence surrounding the courts and doesn't even seem to feel it.
I've always heard that labs LOVE playing fetch, but I didn't realize how much until I had one...she could do it all day and be perfectly happy.

Wow!!
Lucy is SOOO cute! Yellow Lab's are my absolute favorite dog. I'm getting a male in the spring.
Which brings to mind, if Lucy's not spaded, maybe we could split a litter....?
BTW, nice pics, Liz. I'll get some daytime ones of around here tomorrow.

We actually have an appointment to get her spayed on the 23rd  After reading about the pros and cons to spaying/not spaying we decided it's the best route to go.
We'll definitely be getting another puppy down the line, probably in a year or so. If you'd like the name of the breeder we got her from, they're right in MA off of rt 24, and they're amazing people. They've been doing it for over 30 years, and they ONLY do yellow labs.

All of their pups are round headed with black noses heh...because they only breed english labs, which are rounder and thicker, where American labs are leaner and more muscular (more bred for hunting).

Honestly, they're great people, you wouldn't be disappointed. And they really care about all of their dogs, and it shows.
