if you had faith the size of a mustard seed, you could move mountains.
In fact , you could do a whole lot more than that. You could move heaven and earth.
You could walk on water.
Of course, you may prefer simply to cocreate for yourself the reality of your dreams, full of healthy relationships, the continuous and joyous transcendence of self, and basic holistic wellness.
Basically, there is not one reality. There is an infinite spectrum, a multitude of realities, all of which exist basically as perception. Without the addition of perception, they are only potential realities, they spring into existance so to speak, when you look at them.
Anyways, this spectrum metaphorically speaking , runs the whole gamut from heaven to hell. Addiction to liberation, violence to peace, illness to health, despair to euphoria, cold to hot, light to dark etc etc
Its a galaxy of inifinite possibilities.
Many people (most) believe that their is only one reality, that they didnt choose to be in it, and that they certainly cant choose to leave it for greener grasses. Life is hard, shit happens etc...
the fact is though, that reality is more like a spectrum of radio waves, our own conciousness being the radio . We can, metaphorically speaking, adjust our frequency to recieve new levels or reality.
We can, believe it or not, tune into what we would call joyous, happy, positive, heavenly frequencies, the frequencys of abundance and joy, wholeness and wellbeing, and channel that vibration into our experience.
In fact, not only can we do it, we are doing it all the time. Every second we decide and manifest everything we experience. Usually not conciously.
So yeah... if anyones interested, all matter is basically the same as thought, what is loosed within is loosed without, each of us creates our realities at every second, and every one of us possesses the power to heal or rebuild the universe.
I shall never again imply in my arrogance that we as a species are heading to a global transformational enlightenment. Were not. Many of us prefer to ride the down escalator. That is fine. What i now say is that each of us , whenever he or she is ready, may take the reins that god put in our hands at birth and ride our own individual dreams to whatever destiny we see fit.
So yeah.
heres the funny thing. Im not even saying that the old way (living as if we were not responsible for every aspect of existance) is even any worse than the new way (we are the cocreators of our lives)
many people may want or need to remain in old, less empowering views of reality for some time now. That is fine. we are all where we need to be.
But just in case anyones interested
the door to everything will open
whenever your ready

Not a matter of if... more of an acceptance of what is.

Uh, what part of "faith" do you not understand? Demonstration would provide proof which would negate faith, therefore logically, a demonstration cannot be done. There fact that a demonstration is impossible proves that faith can indeed move mountains. Of course, I was pretty tripped out on LSD at the time, so....

Oh, I forgot, it is easier regurgitate old quotes and then add more flowerly language than to actually walk the walk.
How much faith does a mustard seed have? I have never managed to communate with a mustard seed. I desperately need an answer to this burning question.

Perhaps someone wiser than I could explain why I get a warning for asking someone to demonstrate what they believe in.

True. Asking someone to demonstrate while pissing on them.
I really love these guys. Oh wise ones who hold metaphors to be reality and destroy threads.

What part is offensive?
Was the quote not 2000 year's old?
Was the quote about moving a mountain not borrowed
Does the proper usage of the word regurgitate bother you?
Webster: regurgitate 3: repeat after memorization
Can the poster walk on water? No. Therefore his statement is trolling and to tell others that they can is a lie and potentially dangerous as it could lead to drowning.
Was there an ad hominem? No - therefore I get a final warning before I lose my 007 License to Post.

Please. Why do you kid yourself?
Why do act like your comment had no negative tones to it?
It's demeaning and greater-than-thou air is almost as obvious as the fact that "walking on water" was meant as a metaphor.
Need I mention that the statement refers to the poster as a hypocrite who is unoriginal.
If you need I can explain further.

I liked the original post, but Swami and anyone else should be able to speak against it if they so choose. It's challenges like those that make this forum what it is, and all things considered I think it's a lot better with than without.
That said, I think there's a lot of truth in that original post, flowered up or unoriginal as it may be. I know a guy that, despite ordinary enough external circumstances, pretty much believes and acts as if the entire world is designed to make his life suck. He doesn't realize that his happiness is his own to control, and unconsciously strives towards just the opposite so that he can always be the victim. It may not be moving mountains and walking on water, precisely, but in the end intrinsic happiness is a more valuable treasure than any such party tricks.

YJust stay to the honesty and say "It is dangerous to try to walk over the water because you may drown" first, I think. Be true and harsh and perhaps you can rip something of the authors intention into existence, bringing it to discussion but avoid personal references
Personally I liked the initial post. I see it as something that more or less sleeps in everyone of us. Some try to keep it covered and some are not able to get it arisen. Yet, I have not found an real explanation of IT but moonie came some close I think:)

Ripping the person? He cannot do what he said therefore, he is a _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _.
This is a factual assessment, not an ad hominem. It amazes me that so many (*adjective deleted*) folks here cannot tell the difference.
