.. are so dry that my bottom lip split. and no matter how much chapstick i use, it just wont get better. which makes me sad. and in pain. is there anything else to do?

Moisterize... I had that too and just a cloth that's wet will help... Or putting a glass of water against your bottom lip and make the water touch the lip for a couple of minutes...

i thought you werent supposed to get them wet because then they dry out even more? Thats why youre not supposed to lick your lips...

vitamin C is really good for mouth ulcers, and may help - it will certainly do no harm. try letting a tablet dissolve inside your lip. the lip will absorb it, so it will get to where it is needed.
bum lips are painful, i hope you're okay. pot helps too, but you know that.

Yeah, you aren't supposed to lick your lips, damn these lips.
I have problems with cracked lips too, but all I can do is put on more chapstick sadly.
Maybe if you go to your doctor, they might be able to prescribe some medication maybe?

i find chapstick to be addictive - if i start using it, my lips will be fucked if i stop. but, i always chew my bottom lip when i get drunk, so need chapstick the next day. viscious cycle.
