 Quick Dehydrator Question

I just realized its recommended to get a food dehydrator with a temperature adjuster but mine doesn't have one, it runs at 425W would this be ok to use to dry my mushrooms still? I searched the subject and people say its ok as long as its below 120 Fahrenheit would 425W push that limit?

Thats pretty damn hot. There should be a way to just cut out the heat. IF it has a fan on it. Try getting one that just uses fan drying.

"425 watts" only tells us the maximum power usage of the dehydrator. If it has a rheostat or a thermostat on it (adjustable temperature knob,) the maximum power usage is irrelevant.
You can safely dry at 150*F with no potency loss. Some claim up to 200*F, but 150*F is where I like it because I've done it personally.

Mine doesnt have an adjustable nob just a power swicth

I'm not very good at taking things apart, is it easy to remove the heating element without braking the fan ? lol
Edit: I am going to just return this Nesco Snackmaster and get the Snackmaster express, it has the the adjustable heat. Thanks for the replies though everyone
