Here's the latest headline news on my country's main news corporation.
I guess it must be more important than anything the leaders of the federal parties running for Prime Minister must want to say, according to whoever prioritizes the news.
Israeli PM will likely have 'cognitive problems': doctor

Wow Carbonhoots. I really hope you are being sarcastic.
This is about the fate of 185 million people in very fragile armistice that could potentially blow out of control.
Sometimes that can be a little more important than cleaning up the great lakes and tax policies.
My News Page: Harper repeal taxes; Grits Pledge Cleanup; Habs down Sens; Tax Tug o War; Sharon
On a side note, I was wondering why you never addressed any points here. I'm not looking for a fight, just some healthy dialog.

The fate of 185 million people depend on Ariel Sharon?
Gee, the article didn't mention that.

Oh. Well, then, maybe articles about the collapsing detente would have some relevance. It's not like his government absolutely needs that old man to be in good health so the detente don't collapse. All I see is headline story after headline story detailing Ariel Sharon's health problems. He's some foriegn PM who should be mentioned in passing. You'd think the guy had something to do with Canada with the media attention he gets.
That's my beef here. Why should the PM of Isreal get more media attention in Canada than, say, our own PM?

Your a smart guy I know you can see the correlation between Sharon and Peace. Personally, to me the whole issue is a dead horse that has been beaten to death since the dawn of debate.
I'm sick to death of the Middle East too, but what is happening right now is a global deal and its ramifications will be felt everywhere. If you don't feel that way, I guess you just don't feel that way.
Of the front page coverage of the CBC I'd take much greater issue with the Mine accident updates (RIP) being one of the top headlines and having a CBC National Playlist featured so prominently.
My News Page Headlines: Harper repeal taxes; Grits Pledge Cleanup; Habs down Sens; Tax Tug o War; Sharon
5th on the list, sometimes its just where you go.
