Umm, if you are a beginner, i would skip the azurescens. And grow a Cube.

Azurecens are wood lovers.

it will work but they grow best on woodchips such as alder chips and macaroni shels..which is what friends of mine have used..

The azure mushrooms prefer wood based substrate, not BRF. I do agree though that you should at least try growing a cube before an azure. I myself still have not tried azures.
