quick question about adding water to gain jars then PCing...

ive read some of the grain tec's looking for some diff ways to try out, and ive read that some ppl dont soak there grain they just put there grain in the jars and then put the water in and PC.. and any ratio/mesurments ive seen are for rye.. lets just say for "example" if one pint of grain dry would way 10 grams and after it was soaked and simmered it waid 100 grams. dose that mean if i put my 10 grams of dry grain into my jar then added 90 grams of water into the jar and PC them, that would give me the same moisture content?

I am still in the practice stage for Rye so I really cant help you out..

But have you tried these
