hi i wondering whether freezing the cactus skins or drying it in the dark works better...or any other method is greatly appreciated

drying em in open air with a fan blowing on them works decently, takes a few days though if they're kinda thick pieces.

freezing them wouldn't dry em at all.

freezing won't dry, but it's a decent initial step
that helps break down the cell walls in the same
way that drying and grinding is intended to.
