if every 50 hits the website got, instead of it loading what you clicked on, it loaded up some scat or something as obscure as a simple distortion. (like a mouse cursor that disappears for 15 sec's; anything really)
it would really mess with people. but it would be gone as soon as they refreshed the page. leaving them asking, "WTF did that really happen?"
I figure it could be interesting...
thoughts?

I liked it enough to post it.
you should start pretending before you post...
it's not necassarily a way to punk anyone... it could be completely obscure so if they weren't paying attention then they may not even notice it. I can Imagine lots of interesting reactions to it... specificly maybe a smile or two...
maybe some flames here and there from some bitchy people.
How about every time someone posts a suggestion you have bot shoot it down right from the start. We could name the bot after you.

It's a funny idea but you have to remember - while for many of us the community areas of this bulletin board are our lives, and the majority of our Shroomery existence, it's really a small fry compared to the thousands of lurkers and posters who stick to the mushroom information. I dont think they would appreciate the joke as much as we would.
