7 days and not a spot of mycelium, expecting too much?
    #5040256 - 12/09/05 04:14 PM (18 years, 3 months ago)

Well like the header says, it's been 7 days since inoculation and not a spot. Jars have been incubating between 80-85 degrees, dark place. I think maybe I'm just impatient, or over expectant, this is my first attempt so also a little afraid of failure. What do you guys think?

It can take up to 14 days depending on the strain, the exact conditions, the kind of substrate you used, the ratio of substrate you used, etc. Best formula for fruting is 2:1:1 (verm, water, brf)

I've had PF jars take up to two weeks to show germination. Wait it out.

Any of the times you get on this site you should just multiply by two until you know your own results. I have been disappointed several times thinking that I was going to be at x stage in x days. At least you may be early rather than disapopinted. After a few runs you will know how long things take for your setup.
