I was drying my shrooms once with a fan and it made it smell a little bit shroomy. But I had the door closed because my parents were over. If you have a good amount of airflow it isn't going ot stink up the house.

There is an odor, but you need a super good nose for it. Like a Bloodhound nose or something...

My wife can smell 'em, but I can't for the life of me...

Yeah, it smells like mushrooms. It is pretty noticable if you know what fresh growing mushrooms smell like but it will only smell up the small area around the drying area (like your entire closet or your room). I wouldn't worry as most people wouldn't even think about that smell because it isn't strong and it isn't something that the average person could link to an illegal activity.

Also, the drier they get, the less potent the smell
