 Metalic looking flakes on my shrooms . . .

I have recently moved to a new town and the shrooms that I've gotten have small shiny flakes on them. I've never seen, or heard of this before. They are silver and look like small flakes of metal or something. I was wondering if anyone knew what these were, if they are unusual, or harmful?

more than likely they are particles of vermiculite used in the growing process. from what i understand some particles on your shrooms are harmless.

Vermiculite, it is used when growing. If you eat to much you will get "glitter shits"

Just vermiculite as everyone has said.
When they are dry you can flake most of them off, and the small amount remaining shouldn't really be much of an issue. If you don't like seeing them on what you are eating, blend them up or something.

HAHAHAHA, I'm going to eat straight vermiculite just to see that. I remember one time a LONG time ago my dog ate a pack of crayons that glow in the dark, and take a guess what happened since they didn't fully digest.

if you eat enough beats or carrets your pee is red or orange i tryed the carrots one... god had to eat a lot i was long had nothing better to do :P

Sometimes when I do my college homework, I'll always munch out. So I decided that it'd be best to munch on some veggies, so I ate a bag of baby carrots. I had extreme liquid orange with chunks diarrhea (sorry to anyone offended haha). So the next week I did it again just to see if it was a fluke and nope. I can't eat that much carrots to turn my pee orange, I end up with chunky liquid.

at halloween, I made the mistake of eating far to many pumpkin seeds - god, that caused quite the GI disturbance in the morning.

well the trip was good but nothing super spectacular . . . I'm going to feel like such a little princess on the pot though . . . even my poo is sparkly! lol
