e-book idea
    #4895567 - 11/04/05 09:26 PM (18 years, 4 months ago)

I had an idea. someone should make an e-book from that Stamets book: "The Mushroom Cultivator". I think this would help not only me, but a lot of others that are just starting out. All other e-books are, of course, welcome!

You should email Mr. Stamets. He might go for an idea like that.

The grow logs, teks, and archives provide much more current and effective methods to learn by, in my opinion. TMC isn't really beginner stuff.

True

If you want to learn how to convert a barn into an FC then TMC is the way too go.

Im not flaming anyone. Its the truth, newbs would have a hard time learning to grow by only reading TMC. And the TMC does explain how convert large areas into a grow room.

>cypher: you're talking about copyright infringement

He is talking about the copyright infringement when YOU publish The Mushroom Cultivator as e-book. Just contact the publisher of the print book and you will see what they'll say. (namely, "no, we do NOT allow you to publish this book in e-book form or any other form for that matter").

I think I'll just stick to the shroomery. I looked into some of Paul Stamets books and refuse to pay 35$ for material I could easily find on the internet.

wow...

i guess you guys havent heard of this? http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/browse/-/551440/ref=tr_39771/102-7550507-6707335

and i read my post several times and still cant figure out where you guys got the idea that i wanted it for free or that i planned on breaking copywrite laws.

all i was trying to say was. some people like e-books. you dont have to get up to buy one, their right on your computer with all the other growing info, and the best part is: you can search them!
