Here is a great site that I was turned onto by a member over at mycotopia. Check it out: www.freecycle.org
Within a matter of hours I have made a good hookup for free horse poo. Not that I already don't have one but another connection is always a plus. gotta love it.
I've also come across a basement full of canning jars, yes all for free, just have to go and pick them up.
check it out you never know what you might find in your area that people are just waiting for someone to come and take it away.

man there is alot of stuff in that craigslist. will have to do some digging into it but it appears the closest city to me is like 3 hours away, hell i'm 3 hours from everywhere, lol.

I check the Craiglist like some check Ebay...every day.

I find free canning jars and cheap pressure cookers all the time.

Last month there was a All American 941 pressure cooker for $100...
but that model doesn't fit on my stove...so I passed on it.
I already have several large ones anyway...so I really don't need another.
I should have bought it and re-sold it on ebay to make a few extra $$$

This week there is...
17 dozen pint canning jars w/rings - for $50
If I needed jars that would be a great deal.

and there are no good deals on pressure cookers this week...
in Seattle anyway!~
