keeping my substrate warm
    #4849348 - 10/25/05 06:32 AM (18 years, 5 months ago)

i took my cakes to the cheese grater last night and mixed them in w/ some 50/50 pre pastureized stud. i cranked my heat but i don't think that will be enough to maintain the right temp for my substrate. how can i keep the tub warm? it's sitting by the heater right now but i don't want to just give heat to one side of the container...

would it be better to using a heating pad under the tub instead of a blanket and/or lamp?

You could buy a cheap space heater and put a timer on it...

Buy an electric blanket and either cover your jars with it or place it under your incubator.
