Shrooms Beer ??

just wondering if anybody has ever made it or drank it or heard about it in sum way .. reason i ask because i know a guy who can make his own home brew and he was asking me about making shroom beer and what not ... any replys would be of sum help  :stoned:

i remember this came up a while back. i think the consensus was that you can't make shroom beer in the 'ferment' aspect while still maintaining the psilosybin. but you could take dried shroom powder and mix it into your bear . perhaps you could mix shroom tea wth beer as well.

i was thinkin after its fermented its still kinda warm so then u could jus mix dry shroom powder n that would work but then again with the dose and all so im thinking we jus add 1 oz. of dried up shroom powder it'll work out shit thats alot of psilosybin maybe 14 grams would be enuff neways yeh i think we gonna try this come halloween ..

I was always told to never mix shrooms with alcohol

What part of the fermentation would kill psilobin? It never reaches any temps that would kill psilobin. Time isnt a factor because it only takes 2 - 3 weeks (depending on the beer ofcourse) to brew completely. Would it be the actual fermentation that kills this? I brew my own beer as well and never though of this. Interesting concept :wink: - Id personally say its possible, unless some one has actually tried this or can come up w/ some info on why it would not.

I do this. I can never get thru more than 2 beers but i like to drink when coming down kinda helps level it out and bring it back some IMO

One idea that I've had, that I almost don't want to tell anybody about, is shroom wine. Would this work or not????

1. Make Shroom Honey
2. Make Honey Wine with the Shroom Honey
3. You are left with Shroom Wine

Yeah your best bet would be to extract the psilobin into liquid form then ferment in wine/beer. Otherwise potency (unless swallowing the actal bits of shrooms) would be affected.
