Quick casing question

I cased 1 whole cake with perlite in Tupperware.

I mixed the perlite with a little water but I didn't mix it with anything else. Will this still work or did I mess it up?

You should've have cased with at least verm..

You should have put 1 part peroxide w/20 Parts spring water in the Perlite.

Would that be to sterilize the perlite? Because I did that.... Nuked it for 25 mins mixing it in between

I think all you had to do is put the mix in the peroxide. And you Nuck the Vermiculite till it steaming hot, then let it cool to room temp and then you put it on top of the colonized grain.

The perlite goes into the tupperware container moist then your casing sits on top of that. The casing is cased with verm, 50/50+, or coir mixes. Your question was slightly confusing but reading will clear up most all question you should have. I recommend anyone who is learning to read for a minimum of 100 hrs. first before even attempting to grow. This will give you a clue what is going on at best, many here have 1000's of hours under their belts and are still learning me included. :wink:
