Drip shield optional?

I plan on casing in the bottom of milk containers, in either styrofoam coolers or a decent sized fishtank. Is a drip shield optional when casing? http://www.lycaeum.org/drugs.old/plants/mushrooms/gg/MMGG.HTM Also, is this a reliable guide? And... I'm going to be using 2 FC's with casings... will an ultrasonic humidifier be needed?

If you're doing casings, your humidity shouldn't be high enough for water to condensate and drip on your casing. Humidity for a casing should be about 85%. Cakes on the other hand, a dripshield is a good idea.

Yes its an option(you probably wont need one)
Yeah MMGG is a trusted, tried & true tek
Will you be using it for humidity or FAE??
For FAE it could be used, for humidity, you wont need it, just mist the sides of the FC.
