This isn't the first European court to refuse extradition to the USA. I remember a story about a big time meth dealer from Norway that the USA wanted but couldn't get because of the court's concerns regarding deplorable conditions of US jails.
There are some (medical marijuana) Americans in Canada seeking refugee status right now too, but it looks like they will be sent packing.
It's nice to see someone give a hoot about human rights and not just do whatever uncle sam says, I think.

The dutch had a colony, it was called new york. Strange how what could of been a bastion of freedom within the US is now one of the biggest cess pools of modern culture.
Props to the dutch for giving a damn about the small guy. The netherlands is looking better and better each day.

Requests of extradition from other countries are frequently ignored by the US anyway.

The Dutch people are afraid of having more of their people assasinated by the Islamic terrorists so they are appeasing the terrorists. Eventually, they'll have to convert to Islam and will be the first to be put into mass graves by the Islamic terrorists. In WWII, the Dutch joined the Nazis. The Netherlands was a Nazi country then.

We're refusing to extradite a cia-trained terorrist to either Venezuela or Cuba right now. He blew up an airplane in the 70s, yet we won't extadite him because he could face 'torture' in those 2 countries. However, it's perfectly fine for the U.S. to torture suspected terrorists, simply because we do it on Cuban soil... Oh the hypocrisy....
