Suitable Terrarium

I understand that a working terrarium needs to be airtight, and that coolers are suggested- I don't really have the means for a nice cooler, and think it might be a little too bulky for the area I plan to fruit my mushrooms in. I invisioned a large tubberware or plastic box of some sort working nicely. Is there any reason to really stick with the cooler idea? Thanks for your insight.

air tight isn't necessary

airtight is bad, you want air exchange. i doubt you could find a cooler that is airtight, even if you tried.
