Try to push down on the lid while you twist it open. Heating it again probably won't help.

This is more of a thought for future use, i spread vaseline around the inside lip to help with the lid coming off after PCing.

Do you have a flathead screwdriver to wedge in there, then hit that with a hammer?

hmmmm......idk
do you have a rubber mallet?
give it a shot, but do it lightly so you don't break off your handle.

I already did break the handle :foreheadslap: Its not totally fucked is it. I mean the handel broke in two places so I glued it back together. If its not totally fucked then I will be going to go to home depot and get a rubber mallet

idk if the handles are part of the locking mechanism for the pc or not, have never used one. if it is part of the lock then it is done for, if not then try the rubber mallet and just tap it lightly in the right direction.
best of luck

fill your sink with ice, and water, and let sit, maybe it will contract enough to get loose, next pc, be sure and keep the seal lubed.
