i posted this last night, but now i have better pics so you all can help me better.
it looks like moles on the cakes, as you can see in the pictures

temp at 76, humididty high enough to keep droplets on the side (poor mans), light on 12/12 (is an aquarium light bulb enough light?), and fanning is 2-3 times a day.
i think the "moles" are pins trying to pop through, but something is wrong, and they cant pop through? and they just look like pins without caps.

I really can't tell by your pictures they are rather poor quality. You should try to take some better pictures.

thats what i did, thats as good as they're gonna get.
shrink your browser to about half when the window opens, you can see them just fine

it looks like that, except without the pins.
some of them are about 5mm in diameter though, which i think could be the same thing?

um...how long ago did you birth them? Sometimes, according to previous posts, the actual fruiting can take in upwards of 7 days after being birthed. More info would be helpful.

friday of last week.
so it just hasn't been long enough?
and i just read to NOT fan the cake during pinning, because it needs higher Co2 levels (it got it off a link on the shroomery) and i have an aquarium light bulb for my light source. Is that enough? Too much? or what

ok as he said, lower the temp and humidity if there are droplets on the cake and increase the air exchange.
Same thing happend to me my first time, dont give up they'll fruit, if not make some more, and try casing, its easier then you think.

oh i know, this is my first grow. There are 4 jars culturizing for a big ol bulk growth.
so i gotta lower the temp? to what? isnt 72 perfect?
and the humidity to what?
and i DONT let the Co2 build up?

Lol...I'd like to see the link and who wrote that...
During pinning you want as much fresh air as possiable...
You've got a PmP right? So then you've got a pump and airstones, in which case you don't have to fan...lol

Temp needs to have 10F degree drop...So if you let them incubate at 74 then you'd want the temp. to be about 64F-68F to let them pin...Once they pin you could bring it back up to 74F...Point is, Ya need a 10F degree drop in temp....And yes, 74F is perfect IF you incubated at 84F(which is perfect as well)
Humidity...You want so much droplets that they form droplets all over the PmP...As in when you stick your hand in you can FEEL the water stick...Like walking right outside after a nice rain with the sun out...Yuck...lol..That's about 95%Rh+...As long as droplets don't form on the cake then you're good to go...
And no...No co2 After you take them out of the jars (for cakes) lol..

nope, im not there yet, im planning on making a pretty nice terr. after this grow for a bulk. im just getting the technique down right now
heres that quote "Fully colonized substrate should be introduced to light to initiate pinning - light "tells" the substrate that the conditions are right for forming fruit bodies.(light is only one of the factors though, the others are lack of uncolonized substate, drop in temperature and lower CO2 levels."
Do mushrooms need light to grow and how much?

how may i go about dropping the temp?
im thinking a bunch of ice in a bucket and putting it in a drawer with the terr in it, that should give me a drop right?
and for the humididty, when i open the terr. to fan it, i usually put my face up to it to feel the humidity, and it does feel like walking outside after a nice rain. so i think im perfect.
