about 20-30% colonized. don't shake em really hard, just enough to move the grains around.

I shake once right after inoculation, and that's it. My quart jars colonize in under 7 days. Some people shake several times, and that works ok, but keep in mind each time you break down your culture, the less vigorous it will perform for you.

My multi spore jars seem to be just as colonized or more then my LC jars whats up with that? I guess I will try not to shake them anymore I got them at 85 degrees

I've always had jars slow or stop after shaking, since then I don't shake them.
