another cobweb post

ok i know there have been a lot of posts about what cobweb does/doesn't look like, but i have read a lot of conflicting information. i am pretty sure what i have is cobweb but i wanna be sure.. there is a small (quarter sized) area on one of my casings that looks like maybe a gray hairball is coming out of it.. it is a big tangle of silvery strands.. out of this shoot 10 or 15 really long (6"+) strands about the thickness of a human hair. i thought this was for sure cobweb and sprayed with an h2o2 solution, however this is barely keeping it at bay. also, there is no really fine cobweb-ish looking stuff that everyone describes and i see in the pictures. should i move to baking soda? or is this just extremely rhizomorphic growth?

Sounds like cobweb to me, "gray hairball" says it all. Go with the baking soda in water.
