that one may take a little while, it looks like it may have been birthed a little
early or it could just be the results of dunking

Hi. The uncolonized parts are vermiculite.

I haven't used dunking yet, it's my first birthed cake.

after your first flush, try dunking, it'll give you a larger second flush

It all depends on the conditions the cake are in, Ive had them wait 3weeks before they pinned and Ive had them pin in 4 days just depends on what the rh temp light and fresh air is.

Yeah, you're looking at anywhere from 1-3 weeks before pinning. Cakes are just funny like that. Even cakes prepared the same way and in the same conditions will still vary in the amount of time it takes.

I bet that you'll have pinning in 3-4 days if you keep a good air exchange rate, lighting schedule, and keep the temps in the right range...

Happy Trails

Hi! I have seen a pin in the cake  it's downwards the cake... should I set it horizontally??

I used an iced bottle of water together with the fruiting chamber to lower a bit the temp.
