potency-Flush questions

When I first started this I got a wopping three shrooms from a rice cake and I took all three and it did a little but not a full trip. Now Im growing good amounts on PC and coir/verm casings but the later flushes seem like there more potent. I took about 2 or 3 from the first flushes and tripped well then the other night I took 1 from about a fifth flush and was probably the highest I've ever been. No I have some monsters from approximately a 6th flush. Do they keep getting more potent the more flushes because the case was dried up like a prune and it seems to me the the nutes would be all but gone thus not making a very good mushroom. But in the same idea it could put all of its effort into making a couple strong ones in a last ditch effort to keep the strain going. Im sure you guys know the answers im just wondering for some dosing tonight. :confused:
