The Chinese Empire Threatens the World

Red Dragon Myth and Fact

The first and most dangerous myth about China is that it is the sworn enemy of the West. The Chinese people are not the enemy.

The hundreds of millions of peasants in the rice paddies and the working poor in the inner-city slums of China are neither evil nor bent on world domination. They survive day to day under the thumb of corrupt officials, powerful communist dictators and greedy warlords.
They look to the United States for freedom. They hope, like many who died in Tiananmen Square, to set up a freely elected, democratic government. They want to build a better world for their sons and daughters in the future.

The real bad guys in China are limited to a few but very powerful elite. The Communist Party and the commanders of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) rule China with an iron fist.

Red Empire

Another myth is that China is a single nation. China is not a single, monolithic state comprising any one ethnic group or culture. It is an empire, a nation of many cultures, many ethnic groups, chained together by the force of the PLA and the bloody repression of the Communist Party.

The Chinese government is often racist in its treatment of minorities within its own borders. For example, several people in the western - non-Asian - Ughr region were executed because they had the audacity to form their own political party.

In addition, the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) rabidly opposes any religious freedom. The continuing war against the Falun Gong is but one example of a nearly insane opposition to religious ideas. The Falun Gong are labeled by Beijing as "terrorists" yet no Falun Gong member has ever committed a crime of terrorism. No bombs, no hijackings, no murders or kidnappings.

Yet Falun Gong members have been imprisoned, tortured, killed and hunted across the globe by the Chinese government. The reds in Beijing can honestly be accused of conducting their own terror war against the Falun Gong.

One U.S. intelligence analyst described the current Chinese government as a combination of Marxism and the Sopranos, running the nation like a gang of criminals who have divided territories. China is identical to the Soviet Union in this aspect. It is an evil empire held together by fear, oppression and tyranny.

Nazi China

Another myth is that China is a backward nation, led by farmer-zealots seeking a perfect form of government. China is not some ancient agrarian Maoist Communist ideal. China has transformed itself into an advanced, technical culture, dominated by brutal single-party rule.

China has often surprised Western defense analysts with its capability of absorbing advanced technology. The miscalculation inside the U.S. think tanks has led to direct - shooting - conflict with China before. Our arrogance led to underestimating the real firepower and capability of the Chinese army.

The Chinese surprised the U.S. with advanced MiG-15 jets in the wartorn skies over Korea. Mao launched a million-man attack that nearly drove our forces off the Korean peninsula. The Chinese army was well-organized, well-equipped, well-trained and determined, even in the face of massive losses.

Today, China is fielding advanced mobile missiles, supersonic fighter jets, miniature nuclear weapons, nearly silent submarines and newly developed laser battlefield weapons. The U.S. cannot afford to make the same dangerous assumptions as in the past; the mistakes made in Korea and Vietnam about Chinese capabilities will be fatal.

China is no longer a Communist state in the pure sense. The Chinese leadership believes in personal property and personal fortunes made through capitalism. This fact has not escaped notice in the West. Even the Rand Corporation admitted that most powerful Chinese officials have their own Swiss bank accounts.

China is a Nazi state. China has become a modern state rooted in National Socialism, more akin to the ideals of Benito Mussolini or Adolf Hitler. The leaders in Beijing support capitalism and free enterprise while enforcing single-party rule. The ruling elite maintains a single-party dictatorship that enforces its will with bloodthirsty revenge.

It is worth noting that a small nation, held together by the whip of Nazi government, nearly defeated the world. One only has to imagine what the Nazis in China can do in the future.

Appeasement

U.S. policy toward China is dominated by another myth: that capitalism and trade will turn the one-party empire into a free nation of entrepreneurs. This policy, also known as "engagement," operates under the false assumption that capitalism and democracy go together.

History has shown this to be incorrect. The fact is that dictatorships and capitalists often live quite comfortably together. Western capitalists held the fascist-dominated states of Nazi Germany and Italy in high esteem as the future of mankind because of their friendly nature toward free enterprise.

The engagement policy is nothing more than appeasement in a silk purse. It is an attempt to feed the dragon in the hopes that it will grow fat and tire of the notion that it should rule the world. Appeasement did not work with Nazi Germany and it was shunned by the West in the long struggle against the Soviet Union.

The U.S. won the Cold War with ideas. America decided not to trade with the Soviets because we knew the money and the technology would finance and grow an already massive military machine. The Soviet war machine could have won the Cold War with the help of Western "appeasement."

Today, the fantastic growth of the Chinese war machine is directly linked to the Western policy of appeasement. The trade war that decimates American jobs at home also feeds the Chinese military industry. Money spent by the West on cheap toys, clothes, shoes and other consumer goods is directed by Beijing into nuclear weapons, missiles, submarines and long-range bombers.

During the 1930s, many in the democratic West elected not to see the threat of Gestapo tactics, oppression and racism until it was too late. The forcible attempt to subjugate the world under a single whip, later called World War II, awoke the sleeping giants of freedom and democracy - but not until 60 million had perished.

Any future war with China will destroy ten times as many in only a few short days, and there is no guarantee that freedom will win.

Today, the growing threat in Beijing is not led by innocent peasants nor working poor. The front edge of fear and oppression can be found in the criminal dragon, the warlords and the party elite. It is time for the free world to wake up to the threat or face extinction.

China will become the great power of the world. It has 1 billion people there. It has opened up to the world now, free trade and all. And the government is strong in controlling the people.
Business is growing in China. Western companies open factories there because of the cheap human labors and the prospect of selling their goods to the Chinese. Banks like Citibank and HSBC is racing to sell their credit card program to the Chinese.
Lots of American complain that China is taking their job. Well... don't blame it on China, blame it on your own government and your profit minded multi-million company.

Advice to Tiwan: nuke Bejing now...do not let another hour go by...or it will be all our asses. The United States is paralyzed by politically correctness and connot even deal with a bunch of 6th century tribesmen let alone the red army. Our leaders are terrified of the ACLU, American hating lawyers and judges, lunitic groups like Amnesty international et al to such degree that we are feeding prisoners better than our own soldiers, pussy footing around treating a vile book like it was pricless chrystal...and even considering closing up the most effective military prision that we have.so please Tiwan nuke Bejing now.

China has opened up to the world before and then isolated itself. The more we invest in China, the more we will own, in China, of China.

FEATURE-Peru miners feel oppressed by China's Shougang
12:39p EDT July 21, 2005 (Reuters)

SAN JUAN DE MARCONA, Peru, July 21 (Reuters) - The residents of Marcona, a desolate, dying port on Peru's Pacific coast, are not exaggerating when they say they feel abused.
In a town surrounded by desert and with only four hours of water a day, a Chinese-owned iron ore mine is the only source of employment and workers there complain of health risks, low wages and frequent accidents, some of them fatal.
China has billions of dollars of investments in South America ranging from Bolivia to Brazil, but none appear as troubled as Shougang Hierro Peru SA , owned by China's state-run steel maker Shougang Group.
Peruvian officials, miners and environmental groups accuse it of failing to meet its investment obligations, alienating workers and threatening China's reputation in its search for raw materials in the resource-rich region.
"Shougang has turned us into slaves," said Carolina Collantes, an impoverished sweet seller whose husband works 15-hour shifts at the mine for $13 a day. "Marcona has become a source of cheap labor to feed the iron ore production."
Shougang Hierro Peru declined a request for an interview.
In 1992, when the Shougang Group paid $118 million for the state-run Hierro Peru mine 200 miles (325 km) south of Lima, Marcona buzzed with expectations the company would revive the local economy. Shougang agreed to invest $150 million over the next three years, but spent only $35 million, preferring to pay a $14 million fine, according to Peru's government.
"We thought it would be so different. Chinese investment is the big hope for Latin America, isn't it?" said miner Antonio Ventura, pointing to a rusting bus that takes miners to work.
Facing more fines, Shougang invested another $88 million between 1995 and 1999 to take its total investment, including the fine, to $137 million over seven years.
Shougang's union says the result is rising production -- the mine's iron ore output climbed 22 percent to 4.2 million tonnes last year -- but also job cuts, minimal safety standards and no investment in the now ruin-like town of 13,000 people.
"Shougang is responsible for water and electricity in Marcona. The result is just four hours of water a day and regular blackouts," says Julissa Castaneda, a senior official at Marcona's town hall.
Locals and Peruvian environmental groups also accuse Shougang of tipping chemical waste into the sea, killing fish.
SAFETY DECLINES
Union officials say there were 450 accidents at the mine last year, including 22 that left workers disabled. Five workers have died since 2002 in accidents, from electrocution and a lack of safety harnesses, the union says.
"The company tells us we're inventing things, but I'm forced to use crutches because my legs got caught in a faulty engine in 2002," said Constantino Contreras, 56, sitting in his cold cement house with cracked windows.
Shougang's relationship with its 1,800 workers has also deteriorated and there has been at least one strike a year since 2001, the latest at the start of July.
Miners complain wages at Shougang are among the lowest in Peru's multi-billion dollar mining industry, at an average $14 a day, but that the company has increased productivity per worker by 60 percent since 2000.
A faded company statement from July 2003, stapled to a wall in the union building, argued that only BHP Billiton and Southern Peru Copper Corp. paid more.
The average miners' salary in Peru is $33 a day, according to Peru's National Society of Mining, Petroleum and Energy.
A Shougang official in Beijing who declined to be named said: "The company has done a lot to improve safety closely related to operations," but declined to be more specific.
The apparent frugality cannot be blamed on Shougang's economic performance. With international metal prices at record highs, Shougang Hierro Peru's profit last year doubled to $21.6 million, compared with 2003.
Peru accounts for only around 2 percent of China's iron ore imports but has another 30 years of life in which production is expected to rise. China, the world's biggest steel market, sees its steel output growing at least 10 percent this year.
CLASH OF CULTURES?
"There is a culture problem," said Peru's Mines Minister Glodomiro Sanchez. "The Chinese managers see their way of doing things as discipline, while the workers see it differently."
But he denied the government was turning a blind eye to the situation. "I've told Shougang they've got to change their ways. They cannot go on as they are. If they do, they'll bring the mine down on their own," Sanchez said.
Peru's experience with Shougang is sobering for Latin America, which sees fast-growing China as a key source of investment. Countries in the region have signed a variety of trade and tourism deals with Beijing.
Marcona's residents, meanwhile, say Shougang and China can learn a lot from the U.S. company that developed and operated Marcona from 1946 until 1972, when the pit was expropriated by Peru's military government.
"The Marcona Mining Company built the schools we still use today. It built the port, the hospital, the roads and it paid us well," said union leader Manuel Vidales. "To make mining sustainable, you can't abuse the communities," he added.

Good thing that the USA never abused the Chinese immigrants for mining and building railroads in the 1800's. We are squeeky clean.

Asians, Hispanics and blacks are reproducing faster than the non-hispanic white population. Don't be surprised if you get robbed soon, Swami. Also, you'll have to clean toilets faster in order to compete with these other races.

He'll only have to compete if he wants to do non-skilled labor. A majority of these immigrants are doing jobs that others don't want, anyways.

Maybe if they weren't here doing the jobs for peanuts the jobs would pay enough to entice people to take them. It always amazes me that the same people who champion the working man (yeah sure) also advocate for illegal immigrant rights

To be honest, I don't give a fuck about worker's rights and pay. If they can not compete with aliens for jobs, tough shit. People need to be honest, instead of pretending to be sympathetic to an uneducated class that they don't really give a shit about.

Assuming you aren't a Christian, why not hate them both equally? Especially after Bush referred to the war in Iraq as a "crusade" and US soldiers are in harm's way.
