Lately I've been rediscovering my love of Phish

For a long time after they announced they were breaking up I stopped listening to them....I was planning on touring with them and basically thought this was just the beginning of something great. Their announcement that it was all over hit me like a missile shooting down a plane, I understand why they ended it and see it as a good thing now, but at the time it really hurt and listening to their music made me really sad (I was in a downward spiral as it was at the time). Later that summer I discovered SCI and instantly got into them and forgot about Phish. Since then I've been listening to all sorts of music, but didn't really feel like listening to Phish.  Listening to the shows I've been to after so long brought back some damn good memories, particularly 7/31/03 at Camden....that show was a classic IMHO, my best memory of it is walking up the lawn section of the Tweeter, blowing up on really good molly (second time I rolled) while the band played the opening chords of Divided Sky. They played a lot of my favorite songs that night, and they were really on. Anyone else have any favorite Phish memories?  :heart: :tripping: :dancing: :laugh:

No real phish memories, I've never seen them play or anything. But most of their tunes kick ass :grin:

the little i got to see was a real tease :frown:  but now im happy that i got to see them. i only stoped listening to them for a short time after i came back from coventry then i just had to go back. im with Mike Gordon phish still had IT and had many good years ahead of them so im more pissed off than anything else

I was on Phish tour for 2 years(97-98) They were the best of times and they were the worst of times. Tour showed me that angels exist and that I have one! :sun:
