Alright here's some more pics:
First here are pics of all 6 casings and the martha they're in. The shelves are crap because they are starting to rust in the high humidity environment, but there is no rust-water dripping onto the casings so it should be okay.
Heres the coolmist and how it's hooked up.
The best pinning casing that was first pictured is the top left one, here's a picture of that casing and the casing next to it, that is doing almost as well.
moving down the rack, here's a picture of the casing on the middle left shelf.
The next two are of the middle-level casing on the right shelf.
Finally, here is a picture of the bottom-most casing, only the left one. I didn't take a good picture of the right one, but it is behind in pinning as compared to the others, My theory is that these casings were subjected to higher rH and higher CO2 levels as they are at the bottom.. the CO2 i believe caused them to grow a little more, this one pictured is doing alright from the looks of things though. The bottom-right one does have pins, it just grew a little more before it began knotting up, lots of knots, only a few pins at the moment. Perhaps more pictures tomorrow.
ok that was a whore of a post, my friend of a friend of a friend will hopefully let my friend of a friend take more pics soon of his setup and grow.

What other cubensis strains get the white spotted caps? I don't think all of them do, do they? I love how the tapalpas start with whitish caps, and as they grow and expand, the white is stretched and broken up into smaller bits, the white spots! By the time the caps open up fully the spots are so tiny, it's quite a thing to see progress.

shroomery sponsers that link will get you going in the right direction. Of course I didn't get the spores and start a culture of them as that is against the law here in the US. But my friend of a friend in amsterdam got his spores from the spore lab in canada some time ago and took prints of some fine specimens. The friend of mine said he'd be willing to trade once this flush finishes and he takes more prints, so pm me if anyone is interested, I've found the tapalpa strain to be not very widely grown, but it's definately not a bad strain at all. Check out this tapalpa casing from last fall:
hope that helps.

So far AFOAF has only used spores from SD, and Hawk's Eye, but he doesn't remember seeing Tapalpa anywhere, and they're interesting lookin...
