Question about fresh and dry mushrooms.

Alright guys, let's say I have a fresh average sized mushroom that has been freshly picked. When I dry this mushroom, assuming I get most of the water out of it, what would it weigh after it has been dried? Let's say that it started out weighing 4 grams freshly picked, what would it be after being dried. Thanks a lot, if that makes sense. :mushroom2:

stzacrack, I can't stress enough to look in the forum before asking questions like this! Mushrooms are about 92% water and 8% mushroom material. This means that a 4 gram wet mushroom would be about .4 grams dry. Hope this helps.
