brown rice flour, non-organic OK?

Sorry, can't find the answer to this question on the grow FAQ or forum, so am asking...

Is non organic brown rice flour OK or likely to introduce a problem?

I live in the UK, where a ton of the things seem pretty hard to get, even my local Holland and Barrett don't do the organic variant. Anyone had any luck getting organic BRF?

The BRF i use does not say "organic" anywhere on the package.. And has done me just fine.

Or you can just put the whole brown rice into a clean coffee grinder.

Uncle Bens should be ok, I have never seen UB BRF though

I wouldn't worry that much about using inorganic sources. The myc seems to love everything. :smile:

Regarding whole grain brown rice:  I've had better luck with Lundberg's Nutrafarmed over their organic brown rice.

Load em up with preservatives :mushroom2: :cool:

I have used regular Uncle bens ("all natural" is what it says on the bag and "ready in 30 mins". so its the regular in the bag kinda rice out of the grocery store) And grew just fine with no noticeable diminish in potency :smile:
